Futurecity's Andrew McIlroy was invited to take part in a delegation to Budapest as part of the University of Ulster's cultural development unit. The University was exploring comparative approaches to policy development in Europe as part of their long-term work to strengthen cultural policy and decision making regionally. Meetings included the directors of Pec, the 210 European Capital of Culture, the Hungarian Observatory on the Financing of Culture and the Central European University.
