As part of the sponsorship of the Royal Academy Schools, St James Group provided an annual Fellowship award worth £10,000 offered to an RA student on graduation from the MA Fine Art programme. The St James Fellow becomes the artist in residence for the gallery and has the use of a studio on the Pumphouse site. The St James Fellow also holds a solo show in the Gallery as part of the support package.
Recipients of the award have included artists Christian Ward, Renata Hegyi, Sam St Leger and Divyesh Bhanderi.
