Seed130: Cloud Messengers by Raqs Media Collective

Cloud Messengers

How do we perceive risk in an age of uncertainty?

Cloud Messengers is a new installation and performance by internationally acclaimed artists Raqs Media Collective, presented by Invisible Dust at Seed130 in the heart of London’s Square Mile.

Drawing poetic and philosophical connections between monsoon rains, trade, financial markets, and the science of risk, Cloud Messengers invites audiences to reflect on our shared climate futures - and the instability of systems we once thought secure.

At the core of this new work is a question that resonates deeply with our times: how can we plan, predict, or sustain ourselves when the only constant is change?

The project forms the final chapter in Raqs Media Collective’s trilogy exploring the entanglement of water, trade, and emotion - following The Waves are Rising (Royal Docks, 2023) and The Tides of Our Tears (Richmond, 2025).
